I really need to watch the latest episode. I was lucky enough to not have it spoiled via social media, but I don't know how much longer I'l be able to avoid that.

Then definitely be careful around this thread, as spoilers are imminent. The only reason I didn't discuss the mid-season premiere here was simply because I didn't feel that there was all too much to talk about. Maybe a couple of things, but it was mostly just a means to set the stage for the rest of the season, or so I thought.

A little late, but I thought this past Sunday's episode of the show was far more satisfying that the mid-season premiere. The one thing I was surprised by was the revelation that Judith is still alive. Good news indeed. I'm glad the "Little Ass-kicker" still has a chance to kick some ass later on in life. But I was confused by the first bit with Beth; who exactly was she crying over at the end of her segment? I thought it was one of the two girls, but neither of them appeared to have lost a shoe in the scuffle in their story.

Yesterday's episode had a lot of intriguing bits. I was actually reminded of The Last of Us for a little bit during the Rick portion of the episode. What does everyone think about the potential for a cure proposed by Dr. Eugene Porter? My friend who has read the comic explained to me that there was a story arc surrounding a potential cure for a little while until it somehow got to where either there's no cure, or it was a lie or something like that. But since the show has been doing all it can to deviate from the comic, perhaps this could be different? If that's the case, the show could be on the road to the series finale. The comic can go on forever as long as Robert Kirkman is making money, but a television show is different; unlike the comic, it has to end at some point.

Oh no, Daryl is getting LINES. And character development. And a guest appearance on Talking Dead. All the telltale signs of a character who's about to get killed off. Crap.

Sunday's episode had the feels. Seriously. I'm also starting to see influences from The Last of Us in very minuscule details. I can't believe there are only 2 episodes left in the season! When I saw that, I'm like, "C'mon! This is way too soon!" I have a feeling we won't see the group reach Terminus until the season finale. What's worse is I don't think we'll actually see the inside of Terminus until the Season 5 premiere. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

*WARNING: This post contains spoilers to Season 1, Episode 2 of Telltale's The Walking Dead.
Season finale tonight! Is anyone else hyping for it at the moment? As of the end of last week's episode, it occurred to me that the season has borrowed a lot from stories that the show has inspired (i.e. The Last of Us, Telltale's Walking Dead game). When the woman at Terminus said something along the lines of, "We'll cook you some dinner," I immediately thought, "They're eating people!" in recollection of Telltale's Walking Dead game. My money's on that for tonight's plot twist. Though one thing's for sure: something is definitely wrong with Terminus. The TWD Facebook page keeps teasing with "Who will survive?" promos. Note that I do not watch the next-episode previews for The Walking Dead if what I'm saying is obvious; I find that I enjoy the show more if I have no foresight into future episodes.
