Share with the community the latest games you've been playing!
I finally got around to picking up The Last of Us when Best Buy initiated their Deal of the Week for $30. I'm not terribly far into it, but so far it's been consistent with what most people have said about it. It started off kinda slow and almost wasn't that fun to play, but it's been picking up and I've been enjoying it quite a bit. I also find that it's very difficult to put down. Still getting used to some of the controls, though; the fact that it somewhat looks and feels like Uncharted throws me off a little bit. For instance I often press O with the expectation that I'll roll out of the way before remembering that rolling isn't an option. Or that pressing X while aiming the Hunter's Rifle activates the scope as opposed to R3, etc. It's great so far, though! I think I'm most of the way through the Summer chapter.

I have played more enjoyable video games but I think The Last of Us is a solid effort from Naughty Dog and one of the better video games for the PlayStation 3. I’m glad that you are enjoying it! I finished it on its hardest difficulty setting but I don’t feel like acquiring its platinum trophy. Maybe I will revisit this video game later for that reason. I still play it online but not very often (mainly because I enjoy Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception so much more).
I picked up Fable Anniversary so I’m trying to make my way through it and collect some achievements along the way but I’m not playing it on a regular basis. I love this video game though. It is one of my favorite titles.

I've been playing Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 recently, and I'd say it's been awhile playing a 2D video game on a current platform. I'd heard if I purchase Episode 2, I can play the Metal Sonic levels and see what has became of him after racing him in Stardust Speedway in Sonic CD.

I've been playing Dust: An Elysian Tail in hand with my Survivor+ run of The Last of Us. Beautiful game! It's on Steam now for both PC and Mac (and also through the Humble Bundle), so everyone should give it a shot.

I've heard of that game, quite a bit actually. I wish I had a gaming pc. I have an old Windows Netbook that might work for that, but it only like using that thing sparingly, since it's hardly a convenient device, compared to my IPad 5. Unfortunately, my IPad is a touchscreen only device, so I doubt it will work for a game like that. Maybe I'll get a gaming pc if that Steam OS thing pans out, so I don't have to give money to MS, or have to deal with Windows.
Anyways, back on topic, I just finished playing Outlast on my ps4. I think I'll finish Zelda: Oracle of Ages before moving onto something else, but I have a bad habit of leaving games unfinished, so who really knows?

I tried out the Last of Us multiplayer last night. It's…different. It'll certainly take some getting used to. I see there's a ranking system, but I've played 7 games and I'm still at 0//. I have a feeling it'll go up slowly a la Uncharted 2.

My copy of the Limited Edition of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster arrived today! But I'm still working on the Last of Us multiplayer so it'll have to wait.

I just checked out Fez on my ps4. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but it's certainly unique, and does challenge the general perception of reality. I'm not sure if I'll join the legion of fans for this title, or just come to the conclusion that it's just ok, but time will tell.

I've finally gotten around to playing Final Fantasy X HD. The HD transition really served this game well, but I'm not crazy about the music. The soundtrack was entirely reorchestrated like Kingdom Hearts I.5 HD, but unlike Kingdom Hearts, the music is no improvement; in fact some tracks I've listened to are ruined in my opinion. There are some that are okay, but it was not pleasant hearing some of my favorite tracks altered beyond recognition.

I have been playing Persona 4: Arena Ultimax and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES. I wish there were more "modern" and/or "next generation" video games that I find appealing but that simply isn't the case. The Evil Within will be released next week. I'm sure it will keep me busy for a long time. In the meantime, I might enjoy beating the crap out of people online with my favorite character in Persona 4: Arena Ultimax, Tohru Adachi.

A friend brought several of his games over for the weekend, including Overcooked and Rocket League. I wasn't expecting to enjoy either of them as much as I had. Overcooked is borderline stressful, but it's whimsical enough that I had a good time with it. I don't care much for sports, but Rocket League was enjoyable enough that I'm considering buying my own copy. Haha it's slightly frustrating when you're trying to get used to the game's physics, especially with the ball itself; its bounce tends to last forever so it's easy to charge at it and miss it because it tends to bounce back into the air just as you're coming at it.

That's cool. I haven't tried either of those games but I recall seeing them on the PlayStation Store at one point. I've been neck deep in the new Phoenix Wright.

I've finished the story in Final Fantasy XV. Though the game offers plenty of post-game quests, the ending has put me in a state of withdrawal.

I've finished the story in Final Fantasy XV. Though the game offers plenty of post-game quests, the ending has put me in a state of withdrawal. Well, that is the Mark of a great game. Completing the Mass Effect Trilogy had that effect on me. Come to think of it, the release date for that is almost upon us!
