Has anyone else experienced serious connection problems while playing The Last of Us online? It's been going smoothly for me until today when my connection kept dropping in and out, causing my avatar to remain stationary for the majority of the time. I was even booted from a game near the end of a very successful match. I just know that I haven't experienced such issues in Uncharted, save for the initial syncing operation. It's getting very irritating.

I don’t really play this video game online. I think I still need to download the latest patch. Anyway, I know that Naughty Dog makes subtle changes to the multiplayer experience in this video game with live updates on a somewhat regular basis. You might like to check out some of the threads that have been posted in the PlayStation Forums that are asking for feedback on these changes. They might give you some more information. The Last of Us is a different video game than Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Tweaks can be made to how players experience lag independently from one another. I know you might not be thrilled about peeking into the PlayStation Forums for information but that is where I keep the patch notes for this video game. =P

That's different. And yeah, I'm definitely not enjoying it as much as Uncharted 2 or Uncharted 3. I'm only playing it for the platinum right now. Pathetic, I know, but OCD won't let me stop.

Live updates are usually more multiplayer-based, which means that they are applied automatically when the user connects to the server. I think I have 68% of the (base game) trophies in The Last of Us. I collected all of the multiplayer ones a while ago when most of my friends were playing it last year. Most of them have all since returned to Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and are playing other video games. It was thought that a large chunk of the Naughty Dog Community would jump all over The Last of Us and not look back on the Uncharted video games. That isn’t what happened. Anyway, good luck with the platinum trophy for The Last of Us. I have no idea if I will ever go after it. I’m not really one to collect trophies, I barely play the multiplayer component in The Last of Us, and I won’t be purchasing any of its DLC in the foreseeable future.

I'm definitely interested in the concept of the Left Behind DLC as I took a great liking to Ellie's character in the main story, but $15 for only 2 hours of play time? Absolutely not. Especially since it takes up 5GB of space. I'll wait to rent the GOTY edition.

We have Konami getting away with charging people $30 for a (less than) 2 hour demo in the form of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. I think companies will always try to see what they can get away with. I don't support this stuff. I'm actually REALLY stingy with my video game purchases these days.

I saw that at GameStop thinking, "Huh, I didn't think that would be out yet." Then I read the cover and realized that it was just a demo…a demo valued at $30. I wondered if the demo consisted of half of the entire story campaign. But just 2 hours? That's awful. Yeah, it's becoming rarer and rarer of me to pay full price for my games; I usually wait for the price to drop unless it's a game I've been looking forward to for months.
