This could be good, though in its current state, I don't like how realistic it looks. And Murray needs to change, stat. And though Matt Olsen and Chris Murphy will be reprising their roles as Bentley and Murray, Kevin Miller may not be providing the voice of Sly. The actor stated on his Facebook that he has NOT been asked to play Sly, or at least not yet; he suspects that they'll hand the role to some A-list Hollywood actor, which I hope is not the case. To me, Miller's voice completes the package. It won't be Sly Cooper without him. |

I'm not sure what to think of this, but I guess I'm glad a Sly movie is coming. I wish companies weren't afraid to make true animated movies, because CG doesn't work in every case, and this is one of those times I think it doesn't. That said, I'm sure the look of the film will grow on me. That's just a teaser though. The film can end up looking different in a couple years. I really hope Kevin Miller will play Sly, but I guess we'll wait and see what happens. This movie can easily end up being total garbage, but I'll most likely see it in theatres if it hits them. Either way, I'll probably get the DVD or bluray. Yes, I'm a big enough Sly fan to support this, in the off chance it'll be good.

Ugh. I think this looks horrendous. At least the R&C movie seems to be staying true to the art style of the game. I like that they're trying to keep the franchise alive, but the CG alone is already steering me away from this one.
