I went to Fan Expo Vancouver yesterday, and was finally able to meet Tara Strong for the first time! She never comes up to Canada, so it was nice to finally meet her. I got her to sign my ultra rare Twilight Sparkle Time Patrol card, which goes nicely with my Starlight Glimmer Chrono Trigger card (also ultra rare) that I got Kelly Sheridan to sign some years back. With that, I have officially met all of the Mane Six!

I finally got around to reading Vol. 8 of the omnibus, a.k.a. season 10. It was a nice addition to the show with a considerable amount of world building, and the last page suggests more might be coming.

Part of me wishes G5 wasn't rushed out in such a hurry so all the side content for G4 could have been properly tied up. |

That's marvelous! I never would have guessed that would happen given she was consistently the least popular character when the show was running. Based on some of the comments I think after she made it further than expected, a lot of people were cheering her on as an underdog and felt like this was her chance at a win. Regardless, congrats to Applejack on pulling it off! |
